Dog Bite

On 07/20/2017 at approximately 1702 hours Brattleboro Police responded to the Common on Park Place for a report of a female that had been attacked by a dog. Upon arrival, Brattleboro Police met with a 30 year old female. The female stated she was walking across the Common when she observed two dark colored dogs, possibly Labrador Retrievers, loose on the Common.

The female stated one of the dogs ran at her and bit her above her left hip. The female stated she tried to run away but the dog then bit her left wrist. The female stated the owner of the dogs came over, took control of the dogs but then left the area. The female was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for injuries that required medical attention.

Brattleboro Police searched the area for the male and his dogs but were unsuccessful. The female described the male as a white male, wearing a white t-shirt, possibly had a beard and his hair pulled back. Brattleboro Police have still not located this male and his dogs.
