Attempted Arson of an Occupied Dwelling

On 07/03/2016 at approximately 0100 hours Brattleboro Police responded to a residence on Clark Street for the report of a fire. Investigation showed that an individual had attempted to light a residence on fire and that the resident of the home had been able to extinguish the blaze before significant damage could result. BPD was assisted on scene by the Brattleboro Fire Department and Rescue Inc. An investigation into the arson is still ongoing.

As part of that investigation, security camera footage from multiple locations has revealed footage of the incident.
