Unlawful Trespassing, Criminal Contempt

On 4/4/15, at approximately 1518 hours, I, Officer Matt Petlock, was on patrol in the area of Flat Street in the Town of Brattleboro. At that time, I observed Forrest Hughes to be present on the property of the Brattleboro Transportation Center. Hughes had a current No-Trespass Notice in effect, banning him from being on the property. Hughes also had valid court ordered conditions of release which banned him from the property. Hughes was subsequently arrested. Hughes will appear in to court at a later date for these offenses.

Brattleboro Police Officers were on foot patrol in the Brattleboro Transportation center due to complaints of criminal activity. Forrest Hughes and Evan Morgan were both observed to be at the BTC in violation of Trespass after Warning notices. Hughes and Morgan were arrested and released on citation to appear in Windham Superior Court, Criminal division, at a later date.

A Brattleboro Police Officer on patrol at the Brattleboro Transportation Center observed Forrest Hughes at the facility, in violation of a Notice Against Trespass. Hughes was arrested for Unlawful Trespass and released on citation to appear in Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division at a later date.

On 3-1-15 Brattleboro Officers responded to the Brattleboro Transportation Center regarding vandalism. Subsequent investigation led to Forrest R. Hughes, 22, receiving a citation for Unlawful Mischief and Unlawful Trespass, and Dylan J. Brooks, 20, receiving a citation for Criminal Contempt: Violation of Conditions of Release. The two subjects will appear in court at a later date to face the charges.

On 02/20/15, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Main St for a report of a vandalism. Investigation revealed that Forrest Hughes had broken a sign from the building. He was located at another location in which he had been trespassed from . Hughes was issued a citation to appear at a later date.

On 7/30/14 Brattleboro Officers responded to a report of trespassers in a building on Canal St. Subsequent investigation led to Forrest Hughes, 22, Gian Ciannavei, 22, Jennifer Davidson, 18, and a juvenile female, receiving citations for Unlawful Trespass. The subjects will appear in court at a later date to face the charge.

On 7/8/14 Brattleboro Officers encountered Forrest Hughes at the Brattleboro Transportation Center. Subsequent investigation led to Hughes receiving a citation for Unlawful Trespass. Hughes will appear in court at a later date to face the charge.

Date of incident: 6/9/14

Forrest R. Hughes 22, of Brattleboro

On 06/09/14, and 06/13/14, Officers from the Brattleboro Police Department saw Hughes on Brattleboro Transportation Center property on 77 Flat St. It was confirmed that Hughes was actively trespassing on theses dates. Hughes was subsequently arrested for Unlawful Trespass. Hughes was cited and ordered to appear in court at a later date to face his charge.

On 05/08/2014 Brattleboro Police responded to Flat St. for a report of vandalism to a business window. Further investigation resulted in Forrest Hughes being charged with Unlawful Mischief. Hughes will appear in court at a later date to answer to this charge.
