Toys for Tots "Stuff the Humvee"

The Windham County Sheriff's Department in collaboration with the Brattleboro Police Department, Brattleboro Fire Department, Dover Police Department, Rescue Inc, and the Vermont State Police are going to be hosting a TOYS FOR TOTS event.

This event will take place on December 14th, 2013 from 10:00am until 4:00pm in the Price Chopper parking lot on Canal Street in Brattleboro.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. Our hope is to receive enough toys to stuff the Windham County Sheriff's Department Humvee and provide for many families in need in the Windham County area.

During the event on December 14th, we will have fire trucks, police cruisers, an ambulance, and other equipment on display! Come visit your local emergency service providers and bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate for a local child to enjoy.

Area residents are invited to donate toys any time between now and the December 14th event at these designated locations...

  • Windham County Sheriff's Department - 11 Jail Street, Newfane
  • Brattleboro Police Department - 230 Main Street, Brattleboro
  • Brattleboro Fire Department - Elliot Street, Brattleboro
  • Vermont State Police - 464 Marlboro Road, West Brattleboro
  • Dover Police Department - 246 Vermont 100, West Dover
