Welcome to the Brattleboro Police Silent Property Auction  

Items listed below have come into the possession of the Brattleboro Police Department.  The owners of said items cannot be located.  

If you believe you are the owner of an item (posted on this site) please visit the Brattleboro Police Departmenteither on Wednesday (hours 8:30 am - 11:30 am) or Thursday (hours 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm) and /or call (802) 257-7946and ask to speak with the Evidence Custodian.  A detailed description and/or proof of ownership must be given with the date the item went missing, before it can be released.  Unclaimed property will be listed on this page for two weeks from the date posted then put to public auction.

If you are the winning bidder of an item, you will be notified by the Brattleboro Police Department via e-mail, and must come to the Brattleboro Police Department either on Wednesday (hours 8:30 am - 11:30 am) or Thursday (hours 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm) with your payment, either local checks (made out to The Town of Brattleboro) or cash.  We do not accept online payments, credit cards, nor do we ship.   If you do not show up within two weeks of your winning bid the item will be re-listed. 

Auctions will be listed on a quarterly bases.   All funds go into the general operating budget for the Town of Brattleboro.

This is a Silent Auction, which means bidders are not privy to other bids. 

 

No further description of the items listed below will be given. 

All sales are final.
